Training for the Victorian Institute of Sport (VIS).
We found the session to be very valuable in
providing us with up to date and relevant information. The two
hour session was a perfect time frame to deliver all the information
without it being overwhelming. The information presented was
specifically tailored to the VIS, which made it easier to understand
and put into perspective.
The session also made me aware of my key responsibilities
as Chief Emergency Warden and also the procedures that need
to be followed.

Dear Martin,
I would like to commend you for the Worksafe
Compliant Emergency Management Training that you recently conducted
at our Anglesea and Winchelsea Community Bank Branches.
To be proactive and ensure that our business
and staff are compliant meeting current State and National OH&S
and workplace safety compliance trained, Safety in the Workplace
is essential for any business, large or small.
Having worked within the finance industry for
some 15 years for various institutions, I must say that I haven’t
had any workplace training that has been as beneficial as yours.
It was truly site specific and wasn’t a generic
form with ‘box ticking’ exercise as some I have
experienced.
All of my staff thoroughly enjoyed your interactive
nature within the presentation and the practical solutions that
you provided to make our workplace safe. I know that I have

Dear Martin,
Thank you for the training you provided to
our Supervisors and Managers on 'Fire Warden Emergency Response'.
You have truly provided some of the motivation to our Safety
Team to rectify numerous issues with our Fire Prevention and
Emergency Evacuation processes at this site. This included completion
of our Emergency Evacuation Plan finally by our Safety Team
and the training of all shifts in that Plan.
The training you provided was shown to be both
educational and entertaining to my key staff. This was best
exemplified by the 'corridor chat' after each session and the
enthusiasm that several of the more 'hard nose' supervisors
showed in the training and their participation in the ensuing
changes to our work environment. I have tried for some time
to get this group to be more pro-active about Work Place Safety
but they continued to only react with safety when something
had happened. This has certainly changed. With the Emergency
Evacuation Plan, although compulsory, they have ensured more
than just compliance, they have worked on the detail and making
OH&S a greater part of our culture.
Through your insightful knowledge and ability
to engage these people, their option appears to have improved
from "that's the Bosses problem" to one of pride that
they have made a difference to our work team safety.
